    As latest result of Company Policy under tight integration of the experience in mechanics-electronics-informatics, CITATION s.r.l. proposes its equipment, systems and services for the full automation of the workshop, through softwares controlling the equipment and running the whole workshop (Gnet).

    It is a safety device technically called "Wheel present locking device", which interrupts power to rollers drive motors every time that the wheel goes out from its testing seat; it also stops pneumatic clamps functioning.

    It is composed by a small roller articulated onto a lever and by a return spring. In absence of load onto the roller, the spring keeps the switch in a forced open condition, so interrupting power to motor and to solenoid valve, which controls clamp opening/closing mouvements. In presence of load, being spring force overcome, the roller goes down and the lever releases the switch actuator, bringing it in close condition and so enabling power to motors as well as clamp functioning.
    The brake tester is composed by two rollers covered by epoxy resin and gearmotor operated and by a small central roller for measuring speed and detecting the wheel presence.
    The braking force generated by the wheel onto the rotating rollers is innerly transferred from tester to a loading cell connected to the data acquisition/measuring system.

    The swinging control panel is equipped with keyboard, emergency stop button and pneumatic clamps controls.
    By means of the swinging control panel only, it is possible to control the whole operating procedure.
