Electromobility is the future and there is no denying it. With automakers introducing new EVs every now and then, the two-wheel industry is not far behind. Apart from producing electric motorcycles for Bajaj, the new facility will also deliver the upcoming Husqvarna Vektorr and the highly awaited E-Pilen.
Furthermore, the new production facility will not only take up assembly responsibility but also take care of paint job, fabrication, and quality assurance.Bajaj’s new facility is said to sit on a massive piece of land, 500,000 sqft to be precise and is capable of manufacturing around half a million EVs annually.
The electric two-wheelers built in the facility will be sold in India and will be exported to other Asian and European markets.
