Smart meters use the design of electronic integrated circuits, so compared with inductive meters, smart meters have great advantages in terms of performance and operating functions.

The operating frequency is also wide, ranging from 40 to 1000 Hz. The overload multiple of inductive meters is generally only 4 times, and the working frequency range is only 45 ~ 55Hz.
4) Function. Because of the use of electronic technology, smart meters can be networked with computers through related communication protocols, and control and management of hardware can be achieved through programming software. Therefore, smart meters not only have the characteristics of small size, but also have functions such as remote control, rate recovery, identification of malignant loads, anti-stealing electricity, and prepaid electricity consumption. Moreover, they can meet the control functions by modifying different parameters in the control software. Different requirements, and these functions are difficult or impossible for traditional inductive meters.
