Precautions and installation of Fountain Solenoid Valve
Precautions
The product will hold the liquid under pressure. Improper use may cause danger and damage people and property. This product is not a safety device and cannot be used as the only device to prevent overpressure in certain parts of the device or containment of dangerous fluids.
Please read the manufacturer's instructions carefully before installation, start-up, and maintenance.
Before installation, start-up, and maintenance, please check the operating conditions on the product label and technical documents (pressure, temperature, fluid, power).
Observe the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body: flow comes from port 1 of the 2-port valve and from port 2 of the 2-port valve. Valves with arrows printed on the valve body can only work in this direction.
Before disconnecting or disassembling the valve, make sure that there is no pressure inside the pipe or the valve itself.
Only use original spare parts provided by the manufacturer.
Do not exceed the pressure, temperature, and voltage limits given by the manufacturer, and indicate on the product label and technical documentation.
Do not remove the label from the valve or coil.
Before installation and start-up, please check the compatibility between the fluid and the valve material. If in doubt, please contact the manufacturer.
Always ground the ground terminal of the coil. Do not use pipes to transport fluid to grounded electrical equipment.
Solenoid Valve Factory's valves must only be supported by the provided connections under unforeseen circumstances. The pipe must not transmit static load or vibration to the valve. Do not use the valve as a support for other equipment or accessories.
Do not modify the fixing holes (if any) or anything else on the valve body.
When tightening or unscrewing the valve, the valve must be fixed or rotated only by the hexagon on the frame. The use of other components (such as coils, armatures, or covers) may cause irreparable damage to the valve.
At the assembly stage, care should be taken to prevent foreign matter (dust or debris) from entering the valve. In those installations where impurities or various deposits may seep into the fluid, it is recommended to install a suitable filter.
Use a suitable sealing material on the valve threads. In devices that use liquid cement, it is important to prevent them from entering the valve and stop its movement.
Do not close the holes of the pilot solenoid valve circuit.
Before installing the coil on the valve or without the armature assembly in it, the coil should not be energized, as this may cause the coil to burn out or break.
installation
Please read the manufacturer's instructions carefully before installation and start-up.
Please follow the manufacturer's instructions before installation and start-up.
The valve can be operated in any position. It is strongly recommended to use vertical installation (with an upper coil) to avoid any impurities falling into the closed device and extend the service life of the valve.
Loosen the coil nut, then loosen and tighten the coil nut again to rotate the coil again (4 N/m for valves with brass armature tubes and 7 N/m for valves with stainless steel armature tubes). The most suitable location.
During operation, the coil temperature usually rises (this is normal). Abnormal overheating can cause smoke and burning odors. In this case, the power supply must be stopped immediately.
Install the valve away from heat sources and in an environment where the heat generated by the coil is easily dissipated.
It is important to pay attention to the flow direction, pressure, and technical data on the label.
