About rechargeable lead-acid batteries
Rechargeable batteries were invented decades after the appearance of original batteries. Since water will eventually evaporate even in the mildest weather, rechargeable batteries filled with water can only be used with proper ventilation.
Despite these needs, flooded rechargeable batteries are still the best choice for backup power applications. They are also widely used in backup power sources, utilities, telecommunications, and grid energy storage, and backup power sources.
