In order to make the advertising effect of the light box eye-catching at night, in addition to bright colors, the light box cloth must have a certain degree of light transmission. After the light inside the box is turned on, the beautiful fonts and graphics of the light box are displayed. Therefore, the higher the light transmittance of the light box cloth, the brighter the color and the more eye-catching.
The factors that affect the light transmittance of the light box cloth have the following aspects: (1) Light source, different light sources have different luminous flux. In practical applications, a 40-watt fluorescent tube is generally used, because it has the largest luminous flux and is a cold light, which will not increase the temperature of the light box cloth and accelerate the aging; (2) The distance between the light box and the light source, and the light box is away from the light source. The closer, the greater the luminous flux, but it also brings about the problem of the appearance of the lamp tube, so in practical applications, the distance is usually controlled at about 15cm. Of course, this also depends on the specific arrangement of the lamp tubes, and cannot be generalized; (3) The light box cloth's own factors are mainly the light absorption and scattering of the light box cloth. Therefore, during processing, without affecting other properties, try to use additives with small absorption coefficients to reduce film thickness, reduce fabric density, and appropriately control process conditions.
But light transmission is not equal to transparency, transparent waterproof tarpaulin is not suitable for making light boxes, and more suitable for application in other areas.
