Looking for help to get rid of QuickBooks Error 1904?

    QuickBooks error 1904 appears with the message stating “Error 1904: [file path/name/extension] failed to register and this usually happens when Microsoft visual C++ is damaged.

     

    Other causes of QuickBooks error 1904:

    Damaged MS components.

    Bit defender prevents QuickBooks communication.

     

    To get QuickBooks error 1904 fixed:

    You must add QuickBooks to the exclusion list of Bit defenders. 

    Change the windows account settings and run windows as Admin. 

    Either repair or reinstall Microsoft MSXML and Microsoft .NET framework.
