Heavy haul projects are becoming more and more impressive. Transporting loads weighing hundreds or even thousands of tonnes requires safe, reliable and powerful modular systems. Faymonville is constantly at the forefront of new transport technologies, developing unique and cost-effective solutions in a rapidly changing world. The ModulMAX AP-M is by far the most powerful on the market, with up to 1,270 kN of tractive force from a single Powerpack unit.
The motorised axles of the modules can be engaged and disengaged at any speed up to 40 km/h. This unique feature, combined with the high traction, gives the operator an important advantage as there is no need to stop the convoy to engage or disengage. In addition, all motorised axles are equipped with powerful and, above all, homologated brakes.
The modules are based on a patented double-link suspension system, which ensures a better distribution of forces and bending moments. A stroke of 650 mm and a payload capacity of 45 tonnes per axle line are further strengths.
The ModulMAX AP-M offers seamless interoperability and can be combined with conventional 3,000 mm wide Faymonville ModulMAX modules and other brands. Users can also combine it with common equipment such as lowbeds, spacers, drawbars, etc. The Power Pack unit used for this mechanically steered module is identical to that used for the electronically steered vehicles.
There are three different versions, depending on the operator's application:
Endurance: For long-distance, heavy-duty road haulage where it is important to support the tractor with a constant tractive force at high speeds of up to 40 km/h.
