Adorable Pokémon Phone Charger Lets Pichu Cuddle Your Smartphon

  • A fanmade Pokémon craft starring Pichu won't melt fans' hearts, however, it can charge their phones, too. The Pokémon Company is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Pokémon throughout, announcing new updates and merch, but it really sadly won't include what will be the most adorable smartphone charger around.

The original Japanese launch with the first Shiny 6IV Pokemon title, Pokémon Red and Green, came on February 27, 1996. Over the years, February 27 is dubbed Pokémon Day and marked annual community events, celebrations, and announcements. This year, the Pokémon Company has outdone themselves within the merch front using a virtual concert with Post Malone, future collaboration with Katy Perry, a tribute music video for the past generations of trainers, and also a smorgasbord of adorable merchandise. The most notable from the merch this current year is the Pichu phone charger.

This adorable phone charger literally cuddles smartphones back in full charge. Created by Japanese artist Nendo Yoshirin, this clay charging station is equipped using a MagSafe charger to use the right cheek, which suggests any phone suitable for this technology may be charged. The phone is cradled in Pichu's tiny hands, giving the clay figure a lot more levels of adorable.  This charger is like a dream for Pokémon superfans, and fortunately, so could be the reality of owning one.

While some Pokémon fans will probably be disappointed with the lack of news concerning the rumored fourth-generation remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl within the most recent Nintendo Direct, others still Shiny Pokemon Buy and wait for the anniversary week the announcement. Previous titles for example Pokémon Sun and Moon, Pokémon Sword and Shield, as well as the digital re-releases of Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow within the 3DS, were all announced on Pokémon Day.

Either way, this Pokémon Day should hopefully bring the fans some clarity on which the series is headed in 2021. In the meantime, the fans have to hold on until April with the remake of Pokémon Snap to scratch that insatiable Pokémon itch dedicated fans feel every now and then.
