WoW: Shadowlands Chains Of Domination Update Highlights Big PvP Changes

World of Warcraft players have patiently waited more than seven months for the first major content drop for Shadowlands, and at long last it's finally here, with the game's full patch notes detailing all the new content and big changes players will be able to sink their teeth into with the Chains of Domination update. To get more news about wow gold pay pal, you can visit lootwowgold official website.

A new raid, new mega-dungeon, and new zone are the highlights of the content update. In the new raid, the Sanctum of Domination, players will finally be able to confront Sylvanas Windrunner, who has been serving the game's new big bad, the Jailer, for multiple expansions now. That will have big implications for the story moving forward, as will the fact that Anduin Wrynn, the leader of the Alliance, looks to have been brainwashed by the Jailer for his own nefarious purposes. In the new Korthia zone, players will team up with the various covenants of the Shadowlands to fight back against the Jailer's forces in new story-campaign quests, while in Tazavesh, a new mythic-only difficulty eight-boss dungeon, players will discover more about the mysterious group known as the Brokers. Players will be able to unlock the use of ground mounts in the Maw after completing the introductory quest in Korthia, while earning renown and completing covenant campaign quests will unlock the use of flying mounts in the other Shadowlands zones.

It wouldn't be a patch release without balance changes, and there are plenty of changes coming to the game's classes, systems, and covenants, with PvP in particular receiving a large update. Many classes are receiving entirely new or reworked PvP talents, and PvP gear will now sport a lower item level than equivalent PvE gear, but will scale to a higher item level while engaged in PvP. Numerous covenant abilities are being rebalanced too, as are various aspects of the game's dungeons and raids.

Torghast, the game's rogue-like inspired dungeon, is being significantly tweaked, with fewer floors per run and the introduction of a new scoring system. Torghast, while initially fun, has become a bit of a chore for many players, as it's the only way to gain the Soul Ash currency used to forge Legendary items. As a result, players have farmed the dungeon ad nauseum, a problem these new changes to the Torghast formula will hopefully help to address.

A new patch also means new systems, like the already maligned Shards of Domination. These new passive bonuses--which can be slotted into certain pieces of gear from the Sanctum of Domination raid--have already ruffled the feathers of more than a few players. Many now feel forced to remake their Legendary item a second time, which is a significant gold and time investment, in a new equipment slot so as to not overlap with new gear which supports Shards of Domination. Thankfully, Blizzard is at least throwing players a bone with the late-addition of having new and remade Legendary items automatically receive a gem socket.
