WoW: The Burning Crusade Classic Officially Announced

Blizzard has officially announced the upcoming release of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic. This reveal was one of the first of Blizzard's 2021 BlizzCon event, which is being held online for the first time in company history. The reveal of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic was sandwiched between information about new content coming to other popular Blizzard titles like Hearthstone and the main version of World of Warcraft, which is currently focused on updates for Shadowlands players. To get more news about lootwow, you can visit lootwow.com official website.

The reveal of The Burning Crusade Classic isn't an entirely unexpected one, as many players were likely anticipating Blizzard to trickle out re-releases of previous expansion packs once it was clear World of Warcraft Classic had a solid fanbase. The reveal of The Burning Crusade Classic was also known ahead of time, thanks to accidentally-leaked press releases.Still, it's undoubtably exciting for fans of both the original World of Warcraft content and newer players who never got a chance to enjoy everything The Burning Crusade offers for themselves. While Blizzard has not yet announced when exactly The Burning Crusade Classic will be coming to World of Warcraft apart from a 2021 release window, they did detail a little bit about what options WoW Classic players will have.

Thankfully, it appears as if no one will be forced into playing The Burning Crusade Classic if they do not want to. During the presentation, Blizzard stated that players will have a choice with each and every one of their characters on their World of Warcraft account - they can move on to The Burning Crusade, or stay in the current iteration of World of Warcraft Classic forever. Interestingly, Blizzard did not mention whether or not this choice was reversible after the fact.

While some people may bemoan Blizzard for rereleasing the same content years later and expecting fans to be entertained all over again, it's clear that a lot of effort and time went into making sure The Burning Crusade Classic is just as enjoyable as World of Warcraft Classic is for fans. Given the amount of announcements players have already seen, and will continue to see throughout the weekend as BlizzCon events keep happening, there is no shortage of future updates coming to both World of Warcraft: Shadowlands and World of Warcraft: Classic, so fans of both should stay tuned. BlizzConline 2021 has only really just started, and there's sure to be more interesting reveals happening soon.
