COBRA TEXTURE - AREA 17 By Martinelli Luce
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cobra lamp, several designers were asked to reinterpret, with their personal inspiration, its character with a graphic texture. A tribute from all of them to Elio Martinelli who designed the lamp in 1968. 23 limited edition creations in 30 signed and numbered copies. The texture of the young designer winner of the competition dedicated to young people under 35, Elena Volpi, joins all the other ones.Get more news about custom resin desk lamp seller, you can vist our website!
“The concept at the base of the proposal is the reinterpretation of the pure geometric shape, the characterizing element of the original Cobra lamp and distinctive trait of Elio Martinelli’s entire production. The optical pattern with black & white lines reinterprets form through geometric contrast and at the same time pays tribute to the aesthetics of the 1960s, the period in which the project sinks its roots. The 50 lines also precisely mark the anniversary we are celebrating and explode in a coordinated packaging that strengthens the idea of exclusivity of the re-edition”. AREA 17
