ESD Acrylic static dissipative coating

  • Additional static dissipative materials, such as polycarbonate and PVC, are available upon request in addition to the standard materials used by Cleatech esd acrylic glove boxes.  In addition to being available in a number of different sizes, they are also available with two or four ports.  Glove boxes from Cleatech are available with a wide range of accessories, options, and customization options to ensure that they meet the specific requirements of your laboratory environment.

A wide range of colors is available in plastics such as acrylic and polycarbonate, the vast majority of which are translucent or opaque in nature.  Plastics such as acrylic and polycarbonate are lightweight and have a high impact resistance.  The application of transparent materials to the surface of  acrylic sheets and films can often prevent static charge buildup on the surface of the material.  When it comes to this application, transparent materials are frequently used.

The exceptional strength and resistance to abrasion of abrasion- and chemical-resistant antistatic acrylic make it an excellent choice for a wide range of applications.  As you are already aware, the material can be shaped and scaled to a variety of different sizes and shapes, which makes it a versatile material.

ESD acrylic glove boxes from Cleatech are a great choice for use in manufacturing and assembly operations because of their excellent clarity for see-through applications and superior chemical resistance to many solvents and isopropyl alcohol.

Glove boxes made with Cleatech® technology do not attract contaminants because of the use of a proprietary static dissipation technology in the construction material.  As a result, the generation of electrostatic charge on the glove's surfaces is prevented from occurring.  As a result, contamination is less likely to occur in ultra-clean manufacturing environments.  Their application in the semiconductor, electronic, and micro-manufacturing industries is permitted, and they meet the cleanroom specifications of your facility.

In order to reduce contamination inflow and inert gas consumption, an airlock and a pass-through transfer chamber are used, which results in lower operating costs overall.  In the case of a stainless steel work plate with a grounding port, the surface is fully grounded while also being protected from abrasion.  In a closed system, an inert gas or dry air flowmeter is used to measure and control the flow rate of inert gas or dry air, respectively.  Stopcock valves and bleeder valves for purging are available as options on gas port fittings.  To regulate and monitor the relative humidity (RH%) and oxygen level, as well as to maintain constant positive pressure in order to prevent contamination from entering the purge system. . . . There are no restrictions on entering through the IRIS port or with bare hands.  This feature eliminates the need for long sleeve gloves, which is especially useful when working with delicate instruments inside a glove box where gloves are not readily available.

Acrylic for static electricity control is a plastic sheet product that can be used in a variety of applications such as windows, doors, machine covers and enclosures, as well as fabricated desiccators and cabinets, to help control static electricity.  SciCron Technologies clear has been applied to a high-quality acrylic sheet to give it a professional appearance.  It is made of acrylic of superior quality.  The fact that it is completely independent of the humidity environment means that it is effective in controlling particle attraction as well as in preventing electrostatic discharge ().  Air conditioning units, such as the AC-300, are a type of device.  Acrylic is a lightweight material that is easy to work with and comes in a variety of sheet sizes to meet your specific needs.  Beyond its exceptional optical properties, it also has exceptional chemical resistance, surface hardness, and mar resistance, to name a few of its characteristics.

As previously stated,  polycarbonate has gained greater acceptance in a wider range of applications as a result of the factors listed above.  When it comes to security windows and machines, optical clarity and safety assurance are especially important because the device must function properly in order to be effective.  Remember that PMMA is a permanent material, just like polycarbonate, and will not change its properties even if it is exposed to water.
