I also got to play Runescape as I was questing. Burgh de Rott, which happens to be my favorite spot in Runescape, is also where I discovered the song. They're so great they're so good that we've teamed up with one of RuneScape's top skilled machinima (films made with games engines) masterminds, TehNoobShow, to launch a competition to seek out the most enjoyable player-created RuneScape video known to humankind. Make a short video (around two minutes) that is both unique and original by using RuneScape.
Today's competition opens. You'll have until August 25th to upload your videos to the YouTube website. Andrew Gerhard, Mark Gerhard, and some video-hungry members from the Community Management team will shortlist five finalists once all entries are received. The five videos will feature in the RuneScape weekly poll that allows the community to choose their favorite.
The winner will be the video that receives the most votes. The contestants will travel with at their own expense to Jagex Games Studio from anywhere in the world. Once there, they will meet the talented people who bring RuneScape alive. We will send them off along with buy osrs accounts a variety of Jagex goodies. Each of the four runners-up will receive an account, signed mouse mats, mugs, and other goodies.
