RuneScape developer Jagex was acquired by investors for $ 500 m

Jagex is a long-term developer of MMO RuneScape. Its headquarters is in the United Kingdom. It is now also acquired by Macarthur Fortune Holding through its Platinum Fortune fund for $ 530 million. The studio belongs to Shanghai Hongtou Network Technology Co., Ltd. Hongtou can also be said to be part of the Chinese giant Fukong Interactive Entertainment.
Jagex had been bought by Fukong in 2016, buying up all existing investment within the company for $300 million at the time.
