As you all OSRS GP know, the Enlightenment aura was released, and it is possible that it will get a permanent replacement for bonus XP weekends. I could benefit from this chance and accomplish one of my most important goals - 200m in Summoning. Now, here's the issue: I would need to obtain a mean of 2k crimson charms every day, every day. This cannot reasonably be done by slaying such as charms. Achieving this would require a huge amount of camping in waterfiends.
I really do value Slayer xp past 99. As such, camping waterfiends is not efficient because I do not gain any Slayer xp while collecting charms. To put it into perspective, I would profit over 100k crimson charms if I slay my solution to 200m xp from the slayer skill. If I were to acquire 200m summoning right now without progressing my slayer xp, then if I start going for 200m slay then, those possible charm drops become totally and completely useless.
Knowing this, I am still tempted to take the ineffective path, and train summoning. If I camp waterfiends, I receive better returns from my bonus xp air, meaning that I want to collect less total charms. I will get a better rank on the hiscores in summoning. When I slay for my charms, I save a huge amount of time needed to collect charms, but I will likely need to use my charms with no double XP active. I guess that I could just have a chance to rank within the top 100 players at summoning when I get 200m by the end of august. I can not decide what to do. Any advice?
So, I have gotten up into the Dagonnoth Mother boss from the quest'Blood Run Deep'. It something I ought to be able to do, I have all of the gear for such a struggle.
Nowthe issue here is that I will hit it with Balmung, taking off a good chunk of it's health and then it's colours trigger. From there on, I can not do any damage. It'll only change blue and even when I try to use water spell out (water wave) it'll just wind up missing all of the time or without damage as well as the mother will end up continuously buy RuneScape gold shifting from blue to red and back. I can not do any harm to either of them even using fire and water magical...
