It resembles the RuneScape gold battle thing is making the sport more like WoW. . ? That isn't actually a bad thing Imo. What I would enjoy would be a dungeon system such as wow with a design, tank, dps etc.. That is way too much. The EoC as it's is great enough to find RS out of its lifeless combat mechanisms. You've definitely never PvP'd... To be honest EoC IMO isn't good or bad, I figure it will get rid of robots however, which can be good.
Anyway, Dungeoneering is not something that you can definitely clarify, there were a few clan wars upgrades for F2P, but F2P has not got much. . I have tried PvP in the Beta. It is pretty great. PvP in the Live, that is another story. I am not rich enough to replace some of my lost equipment, therefore I generally don't go up north. Plus I do not possess the herblore level for overloads. However, I personally would not call PvP with the current combat system"dead combat," although it really is a matter of opinion.
I would agree that combating non-boss critters in the current system is pretty dull but it will probably always be that way. EoC won't make battling non-boss monsters fun... It'll just make you spam skills. I have PvP'ed in the live match and it's good. Beta PvP'ing... Right now, it's great. Everyone becomes Full Torva/Pernix/chaotics whatever. However, no one goes into the wild risking Torva and pernix. So, you might easily get 1 hit on a 4000 whilst pking in rune - or some thing such as a 4000, just like just stun them and reach a few times. - they will die easily.
I've looked up guides for the Fight Kiln however I have a few questions about it. If I really don't have Augury/Rigour prayers should I be on curses? If so which animals should I SoulSplit on if any? If I have dreadnips could I use those about the dills and bank my own pickaxe? Is tanking the Jad's in Ganodermic top + legs doable or more worthwhile to buy OSRS gold plead switch/flinch? If I'm bringing 2 tort pouches and a unicorn pouch + scrolls, do I replace brews for them?
