Induction Cooktop Problems and Solutions

Hey folks, I’m dealing with some major frustration with my induction cooktop. Lately, it’s been acting all kinds of weird—it doesn’t seem to recognize my pots sometimes, and other times it just shuts off mid-cook. I’ve tried different pans, and I’m pretty sure they’re compatible. Has anyone else run into these issues? What’s the best way to troubleshoot before I throw in the towel and call for help?

Induction cooktops can be really picky. If it’s not recognizing your pots, first make sure they’re completely flat on the bottom—sometimes even a slight wobble can throw it off. Also, check if there’s any debris or spills on the cooktop that might be interfering with the sensor. As for shutting off unexpectedly, that could be due to overheating or an issue with the internal components. If you’ve tried all the usual fixes and it’s still acting up, it might be time to bring in a pro.
