2021 Air Jordan 12 "Twist" CT8013-106 to release on July 31st

  • I swear Buy The Sneaker takes us all for fools. Year after year, sneakerheads have been calling for a retro of the OG Air Jordan 12 "Cherry" — a sneaker that hasn't hit shelves since 2009. The fan-favorite is atop a lot of people's lists when it comes to original colorways needing that elusive retro. Dressed in a White, University Red, and Black color scheme. This Air Jordan 12 features an all-White leather upper paired with University Red contrasting accents and Black detailing throughout. Metallic Red upper eyelets atop a White and Black rubber sole completes the design.
2020 Jordans, At first glance, the forthcoming AJ12 boasts a colour scheme very much like the version that released last year to celebrate the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup which showcased metallic gold accents. The "Twist" is mostly made of two different types of leather: tumbled (which covers the majority of the upper) and pebbled (which is relegated to the signature mudguard). The mudguard and outsole have been completely covered in white (good luck keeping those clean), while midfoot Jumpman paneling remained rendered in red. feature a predominantly white base while red hits appear on the sock liner and the mudguard along with a black pull tab at the heel. The tongue's "TWO3" embroidery is switched to red, as is the pair's lining, and the outsole detail has also twisted its colors around, too.
The Air Jordan 12 is an underrated and under-appreciated member in the Retro era. With more of the emphasis on the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Jordan 11, the AJ12 doesn't always get the love it deserves. This Air Jordan 12 comes dressed in a White, University Red, and Black color combination. Utilizing White leather across the upper that also adorns the tongue, laces, mudguard overlay, and midsole. Furthermore, University Red details the liner, Jumpman overlay on the sides, and hinted on some of the branding. Silver then adorns the eyelets, and Black appears on the tongue branding and heel pull tab. Down below, white midsoles and outsole mix in more dashes of black and red to finalize the look. The red contrast on which the wording appears add a much-needed pop to the classic white sneaks.
